WELCOME TO NEWARK, TEXAS!

In Newark, the small-town Texas feel is what we pride ourselves on.

Our city was incorporated in 1951 and currently boasts a humble population of around 1200 people. Whether you are just visiting or living in Newark, you will quickly feel like part of the family and enjoy the close-knit community vibe. Spend a day on the water at Eagle Mountain Park and then finish your day off with a delicious meal from one of our amazing restaurants in town. We are located just over 20 miles east of Fort Worth and 25 miles south of Decatur, with nearly any amenity you could dream of within a 30-minute drive, including the Texas Motor Speedway! The City of Newark provides a range of municipal services including the Newark Library, Newark Volunteer Fire Department, Parks and Recreation as well as Public Works.
