The Newark Municipal Development District is a governmental body whose purpose is to promote, assist, stimulate, and enhance economic development in Newark. The MDD is governed by a 5-member Board of Directors who are appointed by the City Council.
It is the mission of the MDD Board to aid the City of Newark in making the community a better place to live, work and do business.
The Municipal Development District Board meets the first Thursday of every month at 6:30pm at Newark City Hall. Agendas are posted the Monday prior to the meeting on the outside bulletin board at City Hall as well as on our website.
Curtis brings to the board experience working in the negotiations field both in construction and technology.
