Your plans & application will
be sent to plan review.
Your job is to wait now. (The hard part!) This can take up to 10 business days, the permit clerk will contact you as soon as your plans are accepted or if something further is needed.
It is now time to issue your permit.
The permit clerk will contact you regarding picking up your permit packet. This packet will stay on the work site at all times during the project.
Work can then begin!
(Be sure to call in any inspection that are needed in the process.)
At this point, all work has been
completed and you are ready to enjoy your work, once you complete final inspection!
BUT do not forget you need to call in for a final inspection BEFORE this permit can be closed out.
Water heaters and HVAC require permits. In emergency situations repairs can be done, but applicant must file for a permit and inspection with the city within 72 hours of repair.
Please note that this is a general list of what inspections these projects generally require, however some permits may require additional inspections. As always, re-inspections will require additional fees.
